Instructions for building a pinewood derby car are included within the kit. An overview is included in the pdf below, as well as the rules that will be used for our pinewood derby.

Please note that these are the same rules that will be used at the District Pinewood Derby. Winning cars in each division will be eligible to advance to the district’s race that will be held in March.

In addition to the fastest car, we will also be judging for the best car design.

Below are some sample templates to get you started. Remember, these are only samples. Your imagination is the only limit. But, remember, in order to race, you car must meet the size and weight restrictions listed in the rules.
